Delirious

The workshop “”Delirious”” draws inspiration from the architectural concept proposed by Rem Koolhaas in his book of the same name. Koolhaas envisions New York as a city where each neighborhood functions as an independent oasis, with unrelated activities occurring on different floors. Following this principle, we invited a group of young enthusiasts to construct an imaginary city. Each participant was assigned a different neighborhood to create their own oasis tower.

The results exceeded all expectations. We built an incredible metropolis featuring a pickle station with a cucumber pipeline, a tower for the underwater checkers championship, and an elevator tower that transports people to another planet. Some participants designed homes for their favorite cartoon characters, others for pets, and some even envisioned how we might live 100 years from now. Ordinary buildings like banks, hotels, and offices were transformed into extraordinary structures through the boundless imagination of children.
